The company, which produces under the name of Beks Çorap ve İç Giyim San. Tic. A.Ş., is one of the leading companies in the sector with its entrepreneurship and innovative vision in the field it serves in Turkey and the world, producing and exporting to 35 countries and having more than 2000 employees. In addition to these investments that contribute to employment and the country's economy, Halil Bekmezci never forgot the importance of education and had a 16-classroom primary school built in the İnegazili village of Çorum, where he was born and raised, in 2000. The school was named after his wife Nazik Bekmezci.
His second major contribution to education was the 32-classroom ''Halil Bekmezci Anatolian High School'' that was put into service in the 2015-2016 academic year in Bahçelievler Yenibosna, Istanbul. Since its opening, it has been raising enlightened, contemporary and creative young people who are in line with the needs of the age in accordance with its mission and vision.
We are proud to announce that we have added a new project to our social responsibility projects on World Autism Awareness Day.
PROJECT NAME: KUŞADASI NAZIK BEKMEZCI AUTISM EDUCATION CENTER
Our general goal in this project is to raise awareness about autism and to contribute to the education, personal development and integration of autistic individuals with the project we will carry out. In addition, it is to establish an environment where families are supported while autistic children receive education.
When the project is completed, we will have provided autistic individuals in the region with the opportunity to develop their education and social skills. They will be able to access one-on-one and special education content that they will receive in the facilities we will build within the scope of our project. They will be able to do education and personal skill development activities in sports, music, painting, ceramics, etc. and thus integrate more easily into society and social life.
In our project, in addition to the education and development of autistic individuals, their families will also be supported psychologically in our facility, and their morale will be kept high during this difficult process, thus supporting the development of the family structure and autistic individuals.
We estimate the number of people who will benefit from our project to be 300. The following areas are included in this project.
12 classrooms, 1 Music workshop, 1 Painting workshop, 1 Ceramics Workshop, 1 Indoor Sports Hall, 1 Outdoor Sports Hall, Playgrounds
Dormitory
When the project is implemented, it will provide education 5 days a week and activities and sports activities 7 days a week.
In the future, our basic philosophy will be to continue the contributions of our social responsibility project to education.
